I don't think I have anything in common with a man of that age, and he probably needs someone who's more mature and Dating a man twice my age discussion than I am anyway In the event that I say yes to the date and it leads to a relationship, is there a possibility of this truly working out?
Wouldn't want to fall hopelessly in love with him and then one day have him say I'm not mature enough for him Alpha brah Follow 34 followers 0 badges Send a private message to Alpha brah.
Follow 2 What do you mean by "recently met"? Also, how do you know him if you don't mind me asking? I wouldn't say the age means it's a bad thing per se, but especially if you don't know him very well, you have to be quite careful IMO. Loads of older guys just use younger girls for sex. Could you not date a guy around your age? By working out I presume you mean a long term relationship. I find it weird that he is asking out someone your age TBH. Follow 3 Why would you want to date someone you think you have nothing in common with?
Dating a man twice my age discussion be honest, if you are frightened to date someone in the event that you fall in love and then the relationship doesn't work out, I'd question whether you are ready to date full stop. It's in the nature of relationships that most of them fail - hopefully over time we get better at handling that, and part of staying sane is not projecting yourself three years down the line.
Just take it a date at a time and see what happens. The fact that you never articulated why you want to be with him is probably a better indication to say 'no' than his age. Follow 4 I think people are making a rash assumption that someone older will necessarily be more mature or this 18 yo will be less mature.
